Trying to find a meal that pleases the masses is NEVER an easy task! As the summer months approach, we're always looking for quick, yet show-stopping crowd pleasers - bite-sized delights you can throw in at the last minute AND meet everyone's dietary requirements.
These 'Bio Cheese Pizza Shred Wheels' meet ALL such criteria. A spin on a popular classic, easily modifiable to meet your taste preferences. Enjoy!
1 pre-prepared batch of pizza dough (check out our 'SUPER Melty Margherita BioShred Pizza' recipe for our FAVOURITE, easy go-to)
1 packet Bio Cheese Pizza Shred
1 serve tomato-based sauce
++ ANY pizza other pizza toppings you may desire!
Preheat the oven to 210 degrees.
Roll out your pre-prepared pizza dough, on a lightly floured surface, into a large rectangular shape approximately 1.5cm in height.
Cover the pizza base with tomato-based sauce and then Bio Cheese Pizza Shred (along with any other toppings you desire), leaving 3cm around the perimeter entirely free.
Length-ways roll your pizza into a long cylinder, ensuring all contents remain inside.
Use a sharp knife to cut the cylinder into 3-4cm pieces.
On a baking tray lined with parchment paper, place each wheel side-by-side ensuring they remain in contact.
Place in the oven for approximately 20 minutes OR until the tops are golden and cheese melted!
OPTIONAL: Cut your dough into several balls prior to rolling out and try out different flavor combinations on each to try different pizza-topping combinations!
